Introduction to GIS (4 days) During this 16-hour course attendees will learn how to visualize geographic data, create maps, query a GIS database, and begin to understand how to solve geographic problems using a systematic approach. Collect field data and learn how to use a database in this hands-on course. Trainings are conducted over 4 days (4 hr classes) or two weekends (8 hr classes).
